EUBA – this name is associated with almost 60 years of experience in the development of electro-mechanical actuators.
Customized solutions are our strength. We offer actuators with forces from 0.5 kN up to 2.000 kN. A qualified team of engineers and technicians in office and field will advise you on the right choice of your actuator. This ensures our quality right from the start.
New standards are set by constant quality control and innovative development. For your safety, every actuator leaves our factory only after extensive testing.
The adjustment force can be up to 2,000 kN, with a stroke of up to 7,000mm and a variable speed. As standard, our actuators are manufactured with hard-chromium plated steel tubes (special requests such as a ceramic coating of the steel tube can be considered). Commercially available motor-gearbox combinations (three-phase, direct current, etc.) are used, which are connected to the actuator via a DIN IEC flange. Rotary drives (through-rotating) can also be flanged.
Profit from our know-how.
You will be supported by qualified employees already in the planning phase.
- Our design team also attends to specific customer specifications and offers solutions.
- We have been manufacturing with appropriate quality for almost 60 years.
- Assemblies are carried out quickly and professionally by our assembly team.
- Planning and installation of the complete control technology can be taken over by us.
The basis of our actuator is the concept which has proven itself in heavy industry (steel mills, cement works, power plants, etc.). The modular structure actuator-motor-sensor technology can be adapted to the respective specifications. The actuator consists of a steel-welded construction, which is sufficiently dimensioned and equipped with the EUBA overload unit, which has proven itself thousands of times.
The advantages of the overload unit are:
- Protection of the actuator
- Absorption of axial impacts
- Wear-free connection of motor and actuator (no slipping clutch)
- Contact pressure can be adjusted
This guarantees that the actuator is switched off by the torque switches in the event of an overload of the desired push or pull forces.
A destruction or an overload of the mechanical devices is therefore excluded from the beginning.
Opening of Service Center
The repair service was outsourced to a separate building in order to better respond to specific customer needs.
Relocation to Xanten
In June 2017, the company headquarters relocated from Essen-Steele to Xanten.
In June 2012, Dieter Eller steps down as managing director and shareholder. Thorsten Eller takes over the company. Dieter Eller remains with the company as a consultant.
On 20.07.2004 the company EUBA receives the first certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
In June 2002 Thorsten Eller & Dirk Hassel are appointed as managing directors.
Due to further expansion, the company headquarters are moved to Ruhrau in Essen-Steele in October 1980.
Change in shareholder form
In March 1979, the company receives its current name and the present corporate form. With the foundation of the GmbH, the company name is changed to EUBA-Antriebstechnik Eller GmbH.
Further foreign representations
From 1974 to 1978 further foreign representations are opened in Holland, Italy and Spain.
In August 1973 the business premises in Essen-Überruhr become too small. The first move in the still young history of the company is made to the newly created offices in Essen-Steele.
First foreign representation
Despite the difficult investment situation in Germany and Western Europe at the end of the 1960s, the first foreign representation is opened in France in 1968.
The company Eller & Co. is founded on 01.10.1966 by Dieter and Heinz-Dieter Eller in Essen-Überruhr.
